Monthly fuel and oil storage inspection log
A starting draft, not legal advice. Have your attorney or agency review before use.
Check your local fire code, state rules and any Coast Guard requirements that apply to your fuel dock.
Use this log once a month, and after any storm, flood or spill. If your marina has an SPCC plan, the plan sets which inspections you must do and how long to keep records. Use this log to record them, and follow the plan where they differ.

- Portable fuel cans are made for fuel and kept away from ignition sources.
6. Spill readiness
